Recorded at HQ in Echo Park by Brian Cosgrove February 2015
lyrics
trust me you don't want to know
what i put myself through
my chosen avenues
they're dimly lit
and lined with filth
my eyes see only blue
and i wake up thinkin of you
i'm sorry that i keep on callin
i wish i could destroy my brain sometimes
i just miss our time together
i'm sure you're doin fine
and i probably should know better
i just miss our time together
i think i see myself in you
and that's what makes me cry
i just want to know that you're alright
i'm sure you're doin fine
but your eyes are filled with pain like me
trust me they don't want to know
what we put ourselves through
our chosen avenues
they're dimly lit
and lined with filth
my eyes see only blue
and i wake up thinkin of you
Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
